Testimonial: Family R.

We are a semi-large family: 2 parents and 3 children, boys aged 8, 10, and 12. We have accumulated a lot of "things" that we’ve moved with us over the years, some since our childhood.

Last year, we were preparing to move to the house of our dreams: each child would have their own room, and we had beautiful storage and shelving spaces.

My wife and I were determined to enjoy this new house without cluttering it with items we no longer needed. We wanted to honor our new spaces and set them up in the most elegant way possible.

In preparation for the move, I went up to our attic to take stock and was overwhelmed with anxiety... I was surrounded by items I hadn’t used in years... DVDs, baby clothes and accessories, boxes full of children’s drawings, cartons that had already been moved three times without being opened...

Many closets and storage areas in our old house were also filled with items we hardly ever used but couldn’t bring ourselves to part with, nor could we find the time or method to organize them elsewhere.

I was about to give up on the house of our dreams to avoid the pain of sorting and moving all these items.

Before calling the notary to cancel the sale, I called Yuri and asked if she could help us. She immediately agreed and started her support 6 weeks before the move.

Under her guidance, we first achieved significant savings by parting with a substantial amount of items that we didn’t have to move. Then, as we couldn’t sort everything in 6 weeks, we continued to follow her method, sorting our belongings while moving into our new house. It was very effective: things were sorted gradually. A physical place was allocated to them while waiting their turn: either we parted with them or showcased them in our new interior.

I particularly appreciated Yuri’s approach to sentimental items. Forcing ourselves to open the boxes and look at their contents was a fantastic experience. not only did it take me decades back in time, but it also allowed me to reflect on what really matters to me today.

Yuri's intervention had the effect of transform our interior and our relationship with things. Our home reflects our vision: we want comfort, space, and convenience.

We have changed our way of thinking about things and regained control over them.

We are now more free and happier.Thank you, Yuri!
