Marie Kondo is a Japanese tidying expert who became world-famous with her book, The Life-Changing Magic of Tidying Up<\/em> (2011). Her books have been translated into 40 languages and sold more than 10 million copies. She is the star of the successful Netflix series, Tidying Up with Marie Kondo<\/em>. Her name in Japanese is Kondo Marie (\u8fd1\u85e4\u9ebb\u7406\u6075) or \"KonMari\" for short.<\/p>

I am Japanese and I live in Brittany, France since 2025. Before becoming a tidying consultant, I worked for international organizations in Geneva for 15 years.<\/p>\n

The Life-Changing Magic of Tidying Up<\/em> by Marie Kondo opened my eyes: 1) it's normal to not know how to tidy<\/strong> and 2) you can learn. What a huge relief! With this very simple method, I discovered what works for me: tidying guided by joy<\/strong>.<\/p>

Pretty quickly, talking about and encouraging my entourage to tidy became no longer enough. I wanted to accompany people step by step, hand in hand, to apply the KonMari Method and Japanese tidying.<\/p>
